Lomi Lomi

While the term simply means “massage” is Hawaiian, lomi lomi is a massage modality based on ancient Hawaiian healing techniques. It places heavy emphasis on long, flowing strokes, rhythm and approaching every client with love and acceptance. You will find several different approaches available through lomi lomi CE classes, and course focuses range from deep relaxation to clinical applications.

The basics of lomi lomi can be picked up through a brief introductory course. The emphasis on rhythm and flow can help any therapist improve their sessions. Longer courses will help you master mind-body healing, but immersion courses and retreats are recommended for massage therapists that want to offer the most authentic lomi lomi sessions they can offer.
