Event Description

One of the best Ethics courses I have taken.  The focus is on being present.  Present for the client, present for ourselves, present to the work that we do.  I appreciate Tracey’s and Sharon’s guidance.  It is a great class!”  Cindy Elliott, Springfield, MO

In this inspiring one-day workshop we offer simple body-centered techniques that create healthy connection and help clear the way to widening the perspective and deepening the understanding of those we are in relationship with and ourselves.

You will learn tools that will help you build mindful presence, the foundation for healthy ethical relationship, amidst the stressors of everyday life. This class goes into the heart of ethical mindfulness, helping you to foster connection first with yourself and then with others.

With these practices you will feel more grounded, resilient and peaceful even when faced with stress.

You will learn a model of communication that will allow you to communicate more creatively, constructively and appropriately respond to the variety of difficulties that can arise in a practice. This highly experiential course will enable you to integrate mindfulness practices immediately into your work.  Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or a beginner, all are welcome!

Continuing education in ethics may be required for re-certification, but basic refreshers are only the tip of the continuing education iceberg. Massage ethics CE courses are an opportunity to explore the emotional intricacies of massage, evaluate how you conduct yourself both in and outside of sessions and help you handle difficult situations.

Ethics CE classes can broaden your communication skills through topics like cultural sensitivity and the innate intimacy of massage. Learn how to navigate situations like client emotional release, drawing and enforcing boundaries and how to turn down clients. If you need to fulfill your re-certification requirement, look for courses that include Standard V and meet any applicable credit hour demands.
