Body Mind Learn Center, North North Court, Palatine, IL, USA

Event Description

An Introductory Workshop in the Trager® Approach
This guided and experiential 2-day Introductory workshop in the Trager® Approach will be taught using the supported comfort of the side-lying position to practice, explore, and cultivate the Trager® Principles of softening, lengthening, freeing, and connecting! Working with your client in sideline offers many advantages for both client and therapist:
For the client:

Provides a feeling of safety and contained freedom
Generates meaningful self-awareness of the body’s interior architecture and connections
Learning process in deep relaxation and restoration by letting go of held tension in sideline
For the therapist:

Work rests at easy arms’ length
Gain a more three-dimensional kinesthetic approach of feeling into the body
Learn to work rooted, with natural support and a sense of peaceful table presense
Learning Goals: Self-care movements to improve ease and presence at the table

Workshop Goals: ‘Deepen’ the reach and effectiveness of your touch with LESS effort

The completion of this workshop counts as a partial prerequisite toward a recommendation into Level 1 of the Professional Trager Training Program. Receiving a one-on-one Trager session from a certified Trager practitioner would complete the prerequisite requirement.
