Event Description

This class will give you an electrical and new perspective on the Body/Mind. In the first part of this class, you will learn the very basics on how to listen into the body with your hands, to perceive lesion chains or lines of tension, which actually create the pain we feel in our bodies. The second part of this class, you will learn to palpate and “hear” the subtle electrical signals conducted from the brain (which is your hard drive), to the individual organs in the body, thus, helping to increase, re synchronize, and, reconnect any signals that may have been lost, aberrant or disconnected.

In this advanced class, learn techniques which will:

·         Improve your assessment & assisting skills.

·         Enhance your hands’ ability to listen with more specificity.

·         Learn how to follow the fascial lines of tension which create pain.

·         Explore ways to create more ease based on your findings and Advance your career with these advanced techniques!

About the Instructor

Since 1989, I have been doing bodywork as a practitioner and and began teaching in 2015.

I have a deep passion to assist and teach. After I research and write my courses, they are approved by NCBTMB. Since 2015, my classes have touched many students and brought forth information, techniques, and skills that they can easily integrate into their current practices. As an approved instructor for NCBTMB, I teach Intro to Cranial Sacral Therapy at The Sedona School of Massage.

I am a Registered Assoc. Instructor of Ortho-Bionomy® Certified Cranial Sacral Therapist as well as a graduate of both the Upledger and Barral Institutes.

I am a proud member of The International Alliance of Healthcare Providers & International Society of Ortho-Bionomy.

From postural analysis to improved palpation skills, assessment continuing education courses will help massage therapists of any skill level discover new ways to pinpointing what your clients need. Courses will improve your ability to assess clients at a glance and evaluate complex problems through movement and touch.

Assessment courses cover either broad, whole-body analysis skills or focus on one area of the body. Techniques like muscle testing and tension pattern analysis will teach you how to trace problems back to their roots. Courses covering orthopedic assessment are ideal for improving clinical massage, and you can build specialization skills with courses designed for analyzing athletes or car accident victims.

Craniosacral Therapy

While there are many different approaches to the practice, all forms of Craniosacral Therapy (also called CST or cranialsacral therapy) are designed to promote a healthy central nervous system. The modality uses a light touch and can be performed while your client is fully clothed. Craniosacral therapy sessions are typically a stand-alone service.

The idea of manipulating cranial bones, spine, neck and sacrum or the flow of cerebrospinal fluid forms the foundation of most craniosacral therapy CE classes. However, some are based on the idea of essential energy pathways that run through the body. Courses in SomatoEmotional Release (SER), which uses the techniques of craniosacral therapy to help patients recover from negative emotions and trauma, are also available from some craniosacral therapy education providers.
